Meet Our Advisory, Training, and Outreach Collective
The Addiction Science team partners with a number of individuals to help guide the work that we do. These individuals often have their own lived experience with substance use and are able to bring a unique perspective to our team.
These partners support the following:
Participating in a Community Advisory Board to address racial disparities in overdose mortality
Provide insight and assist with the development and dissemination of research findings
Facilitate trainings on overdose education, medication for opioid use disorder, and first responder occupational wellness
Collaborate on the development of new trainings and help to inform new initiatives based on community need
